Fertility Square

Fertility Square uses the latest technologies and treatments to fulfill your dream of parenthood. It is equipped with all facilities required to deliver a full range of services to couples requiring any kind of assistance conceiving.

You can start the required treatment or seek consultation by either a phone call or by an email to fertilitysquaremumbai@gmail.com

We expect you to carry all your previous treatment records and relevant investigations on the day of the first consultation. The first consultation can take as long as 45mins to an hour.
During the initial consultation, a detailed history about your case will be taken and recorded which will also include the history about any past fertility treatments as this helps in decision making. So it is important that you carry all your previous records on the day of 1st consultation. This is followed by a general physical and pelvic examination, and a transvaginal ultrasound to assess the uterus and ovaries. Based on the history and findings and the previous reports you will be advised to undergo certain blood tests (routine and hormonal) and a semen analysis for the male partner. A follow-up visit is scheduled after the test reports are ready.
After completing the initial consultation & workup, a plan of action best suited in your case will be determined. This plan may include various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures depending on the specific case.

Initial procedures

You can start the required treatment or seek consultation by either a phone call or by an email to fertilitysquaremumbai@gmail.com

Hysterosalpingogram

This is an x-ray procedure usually performed on Day 7/8 of the cycle.

Laparoscopy

It is a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia as a daycare procedure.

Hysteroscopy

It is again a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia.

The initial procedures in detail:

  1. Hysterosalpingogram – This is an x-ray procedure usually performed on Day 7/8 of the cycle. It is used to determine whether the fallopian tubes are patent and capable of functioning properly. It can also reveal the uterine contour, any irregularities, presence of fibroids or adhesions inside the uterine cavity. If any abnormalities are detected in HSG, these are further confirmed and corrected by doing a Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy.
  2. Laparoscopy – It is a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia as a daycare procedure. It involves inserting a telescope-like device through a small incision near the navel to view the pelvic cavity, the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the uterus. Any abnormalities detected during the procedure like uterine fibroids, endometriosis or pelvic adhesions can be tackled at the same time.
  3. Hysteroscopy – It is again a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia. It involves evaluation of the inside of the uterine cavity by insertion of a telescope through the cervix. This is usually performed in conjunction with a laparoscopy, but is also done as a separate procedure before the IVF cycle.
Depending on the initial diagnostic workup and investigations a treatment plan is decided. This may include Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), egg donation, embryo adoption.
