Donor semen samples are procured from the registered Semen Banks. The donors undergo semen analysis and a number of other blood tests before being recruited as semen donors. All samples are quarantines for atleast six months before being released for use. The physical characteristics and the blood group of the donor can be matched to the recipient couples male partner.
